What is a dental implant?
A dental implant replaces the missing tooth root. It represents a permanent, perfectly functional and cosmetic solution. It is used when the tooth has been completely lost. The implant has a lifetime of several decades.
When can we apply the implant?
If there is enough bone left, we can insert the implant right away. We will also make a temporary crown if the bone is of good quality – so the client leaves with a new tooth that does not look like a substitute. If there is no bone left for inserting the implant, we will perform a surgery in order to implant a bone graft. Once healed, we will insert the implant. It is inserted in local anesthesia. We can provide general anesthesia if the client wishes so or if there are intensive or multiple procedures to be done.
